 George E. Mead III |
George E. Mead III concentrates his practice on municipal law, municipal defense litigation,
contracts, legislation, real estate, real property tax law, employment law, worker’s compensation law, consumer law, and environmental law. He received
his Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University in 1976, and his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 1980. Admitted to the New York and Federal bars in 1981, Mr. Mead was
employed as a municipal attorney for city and county government for 15 years, and for the State of New York as an Assistant Attorney General
and Regional Attorney for the Department of Environmental Conservation. Mr. Mead has been an officer in several professional organizations,
including the New York Association of Counties and the Association of County Attorneys, served on the Advisory Committee to the New York
State Commission on Ethics in Local Government ,and several state task forces to revise state law. Always active in the community, he
serves on the boards of several non-profit community organizations, and as a Boy Scout Troop leader. |
